The HOWO 4x4 tanker fire truck mainly used for water spraying and fire extinguisher. So the water tender is a specialist fire appliance with the primary purpose of transporting large amounts of water to the fire area to make it available for extinguishing operations. These are especially useful in rural areas where fire hydrants are not readily available and natural water resources are insufficient or difficult to exploit. Most tankers have an on-board pumping system. This pump is often not of sufficient power to fight fires (as it is designed to be attached to a fire engine), but is more often used to draw water into the tender from hydrants or other water sources. The water tanker is constructed from high-strength carbon steel with a capacity of 6,000 litres. A DN500 manhole on top provides access for water filling and routine maintenance. The rear houses a dedicated fire pump room equipped with a CB10/40 fire pump, while a PS30 water fire monitor is mounted on top.
Standard fire-fighting equipment includes: fire gun, hose reel, pipeline hose, fire extinguisher, rope, fire axe, and more. The vehicle features a customized red paint finish for high-visibility fire rescue warning.

Operation and Maintenance
Before Operating the Pump:
Close all water outlet valves on the fire pump.
For foam fire trucks: close the foam ball valve and foam proportioner.
Open the water inlet valve on the fire pump.
Close the water injection valve.
Note: Running the pump without water may cause damage (safe dry-run time ≤ 1 minute).
After Using the Pump:
Open all water outlet valves on the pump and pipeline to drain all water from the truck, then close all valves.
Check the bearing shaft oil level; it is recommended to change the shaft oil every two years.
