Reducer Gearboxes for Snow Removal Truck
- Housing & Mounting Structure
Cast iron/cast steel housing with black anti-corrosion paint finish. Its robust construction withstands impact loads under harsh operating conditions.
Side mounting feet with bolt holes allow direct, rigid installation on the snow removal truck frame.
- Shafting & Transmission System
The shaft on the right is the output shaft (with keyway), which delivers high torque to directly drive loads such as the snow broom and snow throwing mechanism.
Internally equipped with arc cylindrical gear pairs, offering high meshing efficiency, low noise, high load capacity and excellent impact resistance to meet the heavy-duty requirements of snow removal operations.
- Lubrication & Maintenance Components
The metal cap on the top serves as the breather/filler port, which functions to both add oil and equalize internal pressure, ensuring proper lubricant circulation and heat dissipation.
Sealed construction with housing end covers and bolted connections prevents oil leakage and blocks ingress of contaminants such as snow, ice, and sand.
Core Function: Reduces the high rotational speed of the power source (engine/hydraulic motor) while multiplying torque, providing low-speed, high-torque power for the snow removal truck's sweeping and throwing units.
