The HOWO 4×4 off-road fuel bowser is a medium-duty mobile refueling truck built on the original HOWO 4×4 (6-wheeler, AWD) chassis. Tank, Pump & Dispensing Equipment
The cylindrical tank is made of welded carbon steel and fitted with an European-standard manhole cover, internal baffles to reduce liquid surge, a rear platform and access ladder, and dedicated loading/unloading valves. A China-famous brand fuel pump is mounted on the rear side together with a refueling dispenser unit, hose reel and nozzle, enabling accurate metered refueling on site. Both top loading and bottom loading configurations are available.
Safety Systems
Safety equipment is built in for both the driver and the cargo: an advanced fire suppression system, spill containment, emergency shut-off valves, an anti-overfill sensor on the manhole cover paired with a bottom emergency valve, and a monitoring system that continuously tracks fuel level and detects leaks or abnormal conditions.
Loading & Maintenance
· Top loading: fuel is filled from the top manhole — simple and widely used, but releases more vapor and is less safe.
· Bottom loading: fuel enters and leaves from the bottom; combined with an anti-overfill sensor, bottom valve and unloading socket, it cuts vapor loss, shortens loading time and reduces spill risk.
