   Horizontal Asphalt Storage Tanks

 
   
     These tanks are constructed from 1/4" A-36 plate and are built according to UL-142. The horizontal asphalt storage tanks can be designed as stationary or portal units. These tanks are offered with lateral heating coils with hot oil control valve or direct firetube with hot scavenger system. All asphalt connections are 150# flanged with 2-way plug valves mounted. As standard, tanks are insulated with 3" thick fiberglass insulation covered with a jacket. Option available include 6" thick fiberglass insulation, split compartments, walkways with handrails for multiple tank arrangements and top mount agitators.

   Vertical Asphalt Storage Tanks

 
   
     The vertical asphalt storage tanks are constructed for 1/4" A-36 plate and are built according to UL-142. The vertical tanks require less space than do the horizontals and are used for maintaining regular grades o f asphalt as well as the modified asphalts. The vertical asphalt tanks include internal heating coils with hot oil control valve and 6" thick fiberglass insulation with jacket. All asphalt connections are 150# flanged with two way valves mounted. If the vertical tank is for the storage of polymer-modified asphalt, internal baffles will be added as well as a top mount agitator, caged ladder and top handrails.
 
 

   Fuel Oil Storage Tanks

 
   
     The fuel oil storage tanks are offered as single or double wall, vertical or horizontal, stationary or portable designs. The fuel tanks are build accourding to UL-142. These fuel tanks are designed for #2 fuel oil and the heavier blended fuel oils. Heavier blended fuel oils require heating which can be done with fuel preheaters or internal heating coils with hot oil control valve. Options available for the fuel tank include 3" thick fiberglass insulation with jacket, fuel oil pump, duplex strainer and piping.
 
 
   

     Additive Tank

 
 
   
     
       The additive tank is a horizontal tank designed to hold additive at a usable temperature. These tanks include heating coils with hot oil control valve, additive pump, controls, necessary piping and 3" thick fiberglass insulation with jacket. The additive tank can be setup to operate in a batch plant or drum mix plant.

     Asphalt-Metering Pumps

 
 
   
     
       The asphalt-metering pump is a dual pump and is designed for metering the proper amount of asphalt to the drum mixer. The asphalt-metering pump works well with the regular grades of asphalt or the modified asphalt grades. The asphalt-metering pump includes dual jacketed asphalt pumps, electric AC motor with inverter drive, 3-way jacketed asphalt valves. hot oil piping, jacketed asphalt strainer all mounted on a base, The asphalt-metering pumps are designed to operate at a drum mix plants rated at 100-400 TPH.

The Bitumen pump is coupled with Reduction gear box and powered by a variable speed motor.       Note : The storage capacities of our Asphalt Tanks are 15 MT to 60 MT.
