Mounted Scorpion TMA  Attenuator

Technical features:

1. Front diesel engine, mechanical gearbox, rear-wheel drive, easy to operate;

2. The entire vehicle and the buffer device have an integrated structure, and the rear buffer device is reversible and consists of a first-level buffer package and a second-level buffer package;

3. The buffer energy-absorbing device is installed at the rear of the car and is hydraulically driven to turn over, making it easy and fast to use;

4. The inside of the device is filled with honeycomb aluminum, a special energy-absorbing material for aviation and automobiles, which can timely and effectively absorb external impact forces, thus ensuring the safety of personnel.


The Scorpion TMA consists of strut and cartridge sections that are linked together on a support frame. The curved side rails are made from corrosion resistant aluminum tubes, which offer full width impact protection along the entire length of the unit. The side rails were designed to re-direct errant vehicles away from the rear of the truck (coffin corner). Other manufacturers Crash Attenuator models have little or no side-angle impact protection.
